GoalyScrolly ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application ("the App"). By using GoalyScrolly, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
GoalyScrolly is designed with privacy at its core. We collect minimal data to provide our services.
Local Data (stored on your device only):
This data is stored locally using AsyncStorage on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.
We request notification permissions to send you bedtime reminders to complete your daily goals. You can enable or disable notifications at any time through the Settings tab within the app or through your device settings. We do not use push notification tokens for tracking or marketing purposes.
On iOS, GoalyScrolly uses Apple's Screen Time API (FamilyControls framework) to block selected apps. On Android, we use the Accessibility Service and Usage Stats permissions. These permissions are used solely for the purpose of app blocking based on your goal completion. We do not collect, store, or transmit any data about your app usage patterns, browsing history, or screen time statistics to any server.
Payments are processed through Apple's App Store or Google Play Store. We do not directly collect, store, or have access to your payment information (credit card numbers, billing addresses, etc.). All payment processing is handled by the respective platform's payment system. We may use RevenueCat as a subscription management service, which processes purchase receipts to manage your subscription status.

Since all user data is stored locally on your device, data retention is entirely under your control. You can export your data as JSON from the Settings tab at any time. Uninstalling the app will remove all locally stored data. We do not retain any copies of your data on our servers.
GoalyScrolly is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Your data is stored locally on your device and protected by your device's built-in security features (passcode, biometrics, encryption). We do not transmit your personal data over the internet, which significantly reduces security risks.
